08 September 2011 Just to inform those of you that hadn't noticed, I have managed to include a hyperlinked image column within my German Regbook database. Until I can manage to insert my own pictures, I am just adding a link to those images I have found on t'internet. On top of this, I have found the need to split my regbook database into 2 pieces again. I have removed the microlights (Class M) into their own database, not because of the size but to aid additions, (trying to add more records to an already large 65.000+ entries isn't easy as these are/were never fully covered by many publications so I am slowly building up the numbers. The only problem I can see is when using the "SEARCH MY REGBOOK DATABASE" button, when trying to search for a microlight it won't work!! Hopefully that will be the only one.
08 August 2011 Out of the blue - I received an e-mail from an unknown website: Best-Aviation-Sites (dot) com informing me that my site had managed to win an award! If anyone knows anything bad about these guys, please drop me an email and I'll remove their banner off my site, or, if they are actually good guys then I shall show off the banner on more pages ;-) your advice is needed yet again.
07 August 2011 Celebrating my 54 birthday by uploading another ammended Robinson database, changing the picture links away from the defunct Fotopic.net to my new collection hosted by Piwigo This collection now numbers over 19000 images, although not all have had the comments added just yet. I'm still hoping you guys will help with supplying me with images of those Robinson airframes that I don't yet have an image. A very big thank you to those that already have.
12 July 2011 Just uploaded my pictures taken at EGBT (Turweston Aerodrome) on Sunday. For those who don't know, this was the day of the British Formula 1 Grand Prix race meeting at the nearby Silverstone circuit. This year, due to alterations made at Silverstone, meant that no helicopter parking was allowed at the track so once the race goers were in, their mounts had to be parked up somewhere!, so why not use the nearest point - Turweston! Plus there was a rotors running fuel service provided as well, so it was the best of both worlds. I was there from 07.00 till 13.00, armed with my 2 cheap and nasty digital cameras, proceeded to take nearly 400 shots! Not that there were anywhere near that many visitors, but took multiple shots to make up for my cameras' limited range. I met many friendly spotters, who I hope will (those who said they might) offer me their images soon, to compliment those I took. Unfortunately, Turweston wasn't the only location used to 'copter the public and VIP's into the circuit. Along with Denham, Luton, Kidlington (to name the busiest) and those Hotel / Country Houses that attract the rich and famous every year, so you had to make a choice. I fully recomend that everyone pencil-in this weekend into their diaries every year if you like helicopters. Finally to update you on my online photo galleries, I have now published over 16000 into my Piwigo account and I'm very impressed with the service provided. Thanks guys.
30 June 2011 I have just recieved a couple of emails complaining that I've stollen their images for use on this site so wanted to ask yet again to those that have sent me their images previously and haven't been aknowledged with their copyright on the image, to get back in touch so I can ensure I put them on the relavent picture. This is mainly for those who sent me either the pictures as attachments or the couple of guys who sent the many .zip files which were recieved on my old computer before it gave up the ghost! whose names I've just added into my contacts list without adding their name to the images sent. If anyone else believes their images have been wrongly used then my appologies but please get in touch so I can either ammend the pictures, or even remove them completely My appologies yet again to those offended!
25 June 2011 After 30 days of free trail with piwigo without any problems (they even emailed to say they had adjusted my thumbnail menu as I had gone outside their default sizes without me asking or saying a word) A nice plus point! So now I have paid my € 39 and await to see if they forfill their promise. Here is the link for the site of my photos' If we've succeeded then I'm happy but ...... your feedback is valuable, so please let me know!
01 June 2011 Have been pointed in the direction of a French based photo hosting site (against a German hosted Fotopic site) Piwigo I've tried their 30 day trail and so far so good, they have delivered what they promised, so I'm in the mddle of uploading my photo collection and to see if it as good as I want before I splay my cash.
10 March 2011 Due to the very sudden and unexpected demise of Fotopic.net, I have now to try and find a home for the 30 000+ aircraft images that I've accumulated so far that help to illustrate this site. If you know of a decent host then please let me know, so long as it's a freebie!!! I have already tried photobucket - not happy with the upload facility - takes to long! I've also tried Googles' Picasaweb - check out the slide-shows!! I did think of Flickr - but it also took too long to upload just a few pictures!! Any clues guys?
01 March 2011 After seeing that a few visitors are by-passing my titlepage, I've modified the home page and removed the page that they used to short-cut to the site [let's see how long this lasts] as it stops my visitor counter actually logging my visitors and as I wanted to see just how many have checked out my site, or are on-line I don't like these short-cuts!
01 February 2011 Added another menu subject to the "HOME" level of the navigation bar - "Jigsaws" I found a very addictive website offering aviation jigsaws Airplane Jigsaw Puzzles (home page) where I've spend many a hour struggling to sort out yet another of their superb offerings. So I decided to jigsaw a few of my pictures and allow you to download them as self extracting .exe file - see how addictive they are!!!!

25 December 2010 Happy Holidays
01 November 2010 Started a new job tonight, back on the road again, as a night trunking HGV.1 driver (again) Used a lot of the free time I'd been allowed!! to update the site, and I'm still years away from being 100% up-to-date. Managed to sort out another 1500+ pictures, I could still accept tens of thousands more - on any subject meaning even more hard work sorting them out - but what else do I need to do?
11 October 2010 You'll already have noticed the headed navigation has changed again. Spent the rest of the weekend updating my Robinson Database, only a couple more months research material to get myself 100%. At last I managed to sort out that annoying .ASP coding to allow the database links to automatically work! without resorting to even more hard coding. Also the layout now looks as neat as I had wished for all along. All I need to do now is spend another 2 - 3 years checking out all the on-line Robinson images and ensure my database links are accurate. You got any pictures I could link to? give me a buzz, and I'll see if we can't agree something together.
05 October 2010 Spent the weekend starting a new PROJECT!! A Blog!!, so it needs some support. Want to support it? Coptercrazy Blog I'll see how much time this takes before I decide whether I'll carry it on - or just let it die. My online pictures are now over that magical 30.000 images, pity most are such poor quality that only I can like them, since I could have earnt a meagre income from some of them given a better quality. Unless I get a job soon, my subscriptions are soon due, otherwise this history of Coptercrazy will be just that.....HISTORY. Still I'm still smiling my way through this journey called life.
01 October 2010 Updated a lot of the databases at long last, due to being made redundant last Friday, so I took the past week off and just sat on my computer feeling sorry for myself. It does mean that I've managed to get more updates done than I thought I could so check out what's new. I think I need to explain the new online picture collection that I've added to the main menu bar as it contains pictures I've taken (or been given), of commercial / military aircraft etc.. which I did say aren't part of this website, I still went around the major airports / air-shows or fly-ins the spotting trips, and I've lost count at the number of hours I've spent at Heathrow, and therefore Luton (either on the way there, or on the way home) or RAF Northolt, as well as popping up to either BHX or EMA (or even both) - because the wife mentioned she'd seen / heard something whilst at work! (A big advantage of her working at BHX) Last Sunday was the highlight of the year for my local airfield: Coventry (EGBE / CVT). Which has now been re-established as a viable airport operated by the well respected Patriot Aerospace Company, who organised a "HELP for HEROES" Fly-In as part of a "get the airport back on the map" exercise, featuring the last public flight of the year for Avro Vulcan XH558, with the proceeds going to charity. Although the weather wasn't the best, over 75 visitors were recorded, and I managed to photograph most of them, my pictures can be found here: HELP for HEROES Fly-In When I remember how to download my other cameras, I can add quite a few more close-up pictures I took. My time will now be spent job-hunting, so will dictate how much time and how often, I can spend updating from now on, but stay with us, it'll all end up smelling of roses eventually ;-)
27 June 2010 After hearing from guys at the AB Fly-In last weekend about how much my databases are missed already, I have decided to re-instate them. This is also because of the few emails praising my site that I recieved. I will not let a few wasted individuals spoil the majorities way of thinking. So thanks guys, I hope you'll continue your support for my (and Carls) endeavours. Also a big thank you to Nigel Kemp for the use of his photographs, they will soon appear in the various picture locations on this site, CHEERS buddy. Whilst giving thanks, I will add my thanks to Phil and his team at Air Britain Stansted Branch, for organising yet another superb fly-in this year, and to ALL the visiting pilots for their efforts at getting there. It was a shame the weather gods didn't join in though, but it was still worth the visit. My pictures are here:Air Britain Fly-In 2010 not as many visitors as in previous meetings, but I was happy enough. Thanks Guys Just to inform you that my on-line galleries now total nearly 30,000 images, with still more than few thousand still to sort!! so they should keep you busy if you want to check them out º¿º Either on my Fotopic galleries or my Picasaweb galleries, links are to be found on the above menu bar!
27 May 2010 The time has arrived for me to close down my online databases To those 20 friends that did bother to send updates and offer pictures I'd like to publish a very big T H A N K Y O U and sorry it had to end this way.
22 May 2010 Well I've now had enough of the online remarks against this site and have decided to remove this site and leave those moaning minnies without my databases. I have decided that I'd better give a weeks notice to those that do use this site of it's closure. So with effect 23 May 2010 this site will be reduced to just a link for my photographs, 'should stop anymore adverse comments comming my way'.
24 February 2010 Still not added anything other than posting even more pictures onto my Fotopic sites. This time using the contacts' details or requests as I promised, so most newer pictures now contain the copyrite of the photographer as well as mine. These new pictures (plus the 26x zipped files I've still do access, means that I've now posted over 8,000 pictures which means I've paid for even more storeage space - which I don't mind if it means my databases are better illustrated. I've also added another gallery which contain images of general interest that I have taken (ie: my vehicles over the years, busses & coaches, trains, all things military, etc etc) the link is here General Interest Gallery. So again, why not pop along and see if they are as good as yours if not - send me your pictures to add to my galleries
1 January 2010 A Happy and Peaceful New Year Not much to add other than posting even more pictures onto my Fotopic sites. I would like to thank all those who have sent me their images over the past years (unfortunately I've lost most of the details) as I updated my computers. If you see a picture of yours on my site and want the copyrite changing the please contact me again. I have split my pictures into 3 groups (Albums) with multiple sections to each allowing me to post over 8,000 new pictures and yes, I have paid for the storeage space - which I don't mind if it means my databases are better illustrated. The various albums can be found at the following URL's: The Robinson Helicopter Pictures are at Robinson Helicopters Images The German Register Pictures are at German Aircraft Regbook Images My Database Related Pictures (plus a few other aviation related collections - including a 'Test Your Skill' collection) all of which can be found at My Database Related Images With time I will be adding an excel spreadsheet online with a link to all my online images to help you find a picture. I just need to upload the German aircraft into the other collections where relavent, plus upload any of my digital images again. Why not pop along and see if they are as good as you take - if not - why not send me your pictures to add to my listings?
24 December 2009 After adding hours and hours of brain-power to the subject of adding pictures to my main production database, I've given up for the time being, and just concentrated on adding more and more pictures to my Fotopic site. Whilst it is the holiday period, I shall wish you all a peaceful and relaxing time while we wait for better weather to go visiting again. Hopefully this year, if only to say a final farewell to my beloved Coventry (CVT) as it does look good for future aviation activities. Let's hope we have better news in the new yaer.
6 October 2009 After sitting back and thinking - HEY! I am still able to do that (occassionally) - I thought about adding pictures to my main production database. Think again buddy -- it wasn't that simple -- so only the Robinson R22's are available to see so far, although I do have all the Robinsons' ready. I just need to change the .ASP page codings to allow you access to the links, which I want to get done this week Meanwhile I'm busy in the e-group most nights trying to get even more coding to enable you guys better access to my databases in the future. If not better access, then at the minimum faster access. Stick with me == lets see if it can't be done.
29 September 2009 After chatting with a work mate who is a Microsoft Excel geek, I managed to pry a few tips and tricks out of him with regards to adding pictures to my databases with or without the hassle. What he managed in 20 minutes was more than I could have managed in 20 years! But I took this away and after studying what and how he did things, I managed (by chance originally) to get pictures added to my glider database, then after joining an on-line egroup, managed to obtain an even better way of doing it. My thanks to those guys who spend their hours making up computer codes then give them away for free. Check out the glider database to see which pictures I've so far added.
28 June 2009 I must be taking too many pictures as my photobucket account has told me that it's full. So I had to sign-up to another free on-line photo-album type site. After checking thaose available, I opted for the Picasa as well as its associated Picasa 3 photo editor / album master type prog. I'm now totally hooked, this must be one of the least advertised freebie on the web that actually does what it says it does. Never seen an easier upload / modify system for any on-line host, and as for their slide-show option....check out my new pictures, the Air Britain Fly In, or even the G-VFWE from Kemble Other than updating my B.A.P.C. listing using an old Wrecks & Relics (13th Edition) -- thanks Ken this cleared a few more missing gaps. When I get time I'll go through Edition 14 - then star with the on-line searches thanks to those who have already offered updates, Jos & Es to name the 1st ones. Cheers guys.
27 June 2009 Returned from a most memorial weekend at North Weald, so thanks to The Squadron, Air Britain Stansted Branch, Essex Air Cadets and anyone else involved with the weekend. I can't praise them all enogh for such a varied and enjoyable weekend. That is where I must've deleted one set of files off my Smart Card - because I lost nearly 300 pictures, which I knew I had taken because I had used them in my camera to show the aircraft in the rebutments - but nothing left on my laptop!! Anyways, I made up for those I'd lost, by taking another 350 more -- check out the gallery The only other thing to report was a hour visit to Popham on Friday as part of my dinnerbreak. Everything on the field was again graphed, and left a few questions (as always - maybe I should start taking notes again) but I've got to the stage where if I don't get a picture then I don't know what I've seen - and yes, age does come into it.
20 June 2009 I found myself at 'THE' spotter point at LTN -- the one the other side the runway to the terminal so a good hour was spent here good job I didn't leave too early else I might have missed that beautiful DC8 that took-off (smoking her way without any hush-kitting kits), and after the Serbian Govt, Citation 560XLS, it was time to move on I had planned a stop off at Gransden Lodge for some more gliders, and popped into Little Gransden for a few Yaks! before popping into Cambridge -- What a waste of time - even trying to get a visit to the various aeroclubs failed to get me inside the security wire so how they are ever going to get any young person who might be interested in aviation signed up is anyones guess. To my mind - security is that tight that nobody will soon be allowed to join an aeroclub because they won't be allowed access unless they already know members!! So it was off down to North Weald before it got too dark - to set up my base for the weekend.
19 June 2009 What a great weekend spotting!! Using Friday morning to get a head-start, I was underway at 07:45 - enroute CVT and such an early start usually produces the suprises -- ie: a lovely AS.355 sitting on the ramp at CVT Next, back to Hinton-In-The-Hedges to get that New Zealand skydiving aircraft. Well all went to plan, photos of everything that was graphable, so off to Turweston as my next Port-O-Call. Still impressed with the friendliness of this place -- anyways almost everything on the field was digitalized Now, how to get out of here because of the British Formula One Grand Prix takin place just across the fields at Silverstone, the last scheduled before moving to Donnington Park - reason I wanted to visit Turweston to get the massed visitors -- if only!! Eventually made it out to Milton Keynes - so down the A5 and on to Dunstable, for what I hoped was a log-book full of gliders! As if, everthing was boxed up - and only a few gliders out enjoying the sunshine, which was duly digitailized.
11 June 2009 A chance to get more miles under my belt, allowed more images to be captured for prosperity so Manchester, Luton, Denham, Blackbushe and White Waltham were 'graphed in the past few days Shame the weather turned wet during the walk around Blackbushe, and even wetter at White Waltham as some of the pictures show. It was a good downpour which stopped me walking any further. The landing pictures at Luton were all taken at the Parkway railway station carpark what a great place to wait, no being moved on by the authorities - and with just a basic camera, great shots I'm still planning to be at North Weald next weekend (for the A-B Fly-In) - wife already authorised my release pass. Thinking about dropping in en-route to see what is where, but can't make up my mind where to hit, any ideas?
06 June 2009 As this site is for the General Aviation spotter here in the UK I found, by accident, a massive on-line gap for us poor folks. Where is the 'B.A.P.C.' listing of all those 'plastic spits' (or similar) we've seen? Trying to tie-up the pictures of that 'plastic-spit' I photo'd at Wellesbourne, it became obvious that there isn't an on-line resource for any of the 'British Aircraft Preservation Council' replicas that can be found at various airfields / museums here in the UK -- or the Irish equivalent as well!! Even the 'official web-site' doesn't give a listing, so how can anyone know which replica they might have seen? So by digging through the old publications I keep, I've managed to put together a basic B.A.P.C. Register here on-line. It might be out-of-date - but it is the most comprehensive as any I've found on the net. You could always contact me will any updates that you know about! I shall be down at North Weald this month for the A-B Fly-In. Hopefully getting there on the Friday afternoon - to offer some assistance -- or not dependant on time / weather when I get there.
02 June 2009 Finally changed the menu-bar to allow easier access to the multitude of newly uploaded pictures You might notice that I have been busy this past few weeks, getting a few (hundred) shots of gliders to help suppliment my database. A LOUD THANK YOU to the various CFI's that have allowed me access to their fields and aircraft, as well as the very friendly pilots, most of whom, were keen to get me to join them in amongst the clouds --- NOOOOOOO --- Only location I found to be "not very friendly" was Bidford On Avon - where I was not allowed to take any photographs without the permission of the owner - but could roam about at my leisure and write any / all registrations / serials as I wanted! To quote the Airfield manager with regards some Glider-Pilot forums -- It seems that some glider pilots are getting upset that their details are being posted on the net! Shame that it is the CAA's G-INFO site that puts their personal information into the public domain!! Still us spotters need to be blamed for something -- don't we? Finally, if any of my unknown images could be identified I'd be grateful for the info. H.T.H. as most egroups are now saying -- I think it means "Hopes This Helps"
17 May 2009 Took the time to sort out / declutter my galleries. Plus found a lot more unpublished pictures that I've now uploaded, a few more from my Canary Island holiday last year, plus a lot more from Coventry and Birmingham. The main bulk of pictures though, were from the Great-Vintage Fly-in Week End (G-VFWE) last weekend at Kemble, Gloucestershire. Although I only managed the Saturday, I still managed to capture nearly 400 images!! (Was great to meet old friends, like Ken T - who I hadn't seen for more years than I cared to remember) "Thank goodness digital cameras ..... and are cheap to use." now who said that I wonder?? - again!?! Shame the two hulks were where they were, as they spoilt a few of the shots of the parked aircraft but then again, they added to the sense of age. To see the picture of the Harvard parked "under" a B767 where the jet engine was almost the same size as the trainer! My congratulations to the organisers, owners and pilots, for such an amazing collection of airframes, and that the weather held up to allow some spectacular images to be collected by the massed visitors.
06 May 2009 Just uploaded another load of digital pictures taken since I been re-bitten by the spotter bug. Decided that the long-weekend weather was just about OK. I was off for another 500+ pictures. Sywell, Cranfield, Denham, Booker and Kidlington all got the treatment - and amazing how far I was allowed to take my pictures. Hangers were opened, just the normal 'don't touch' warnings and away I went, snapping as I walked (so to speak). Plenty of very poor pictures -- but easy to delete those that were totally rubbish, like the 4 biz-jets that flew over the top at Denham, and although easily within the range of my camera, I still messed up the shots - delete / click / delete / click - what pictures? "Thank goodness digital cameras ..... and are cheap to use." now who said that I wonder?? Got a few more oddies that I'll need sorting out -- like 2 aircraft carrying the same registration! taken in the same hanger at Sywell, at almost the same minute, 1 against a wall, the other on a trailer. Check out the pics and let me know what you think.
22 April 2009 Finally got around to joining the Coventry Aviation Enthusiasts Group, (need more info - click the banner and see their home pages). ![]() What a great idea it is! Check out the new Gallery pictures to see where I was allowed to get for my pictures, all without the 'long-arm' moving me on! Now I had the bug all over again, I was off with my digital camera to waste even more time. I think I'm getting used to the Fuji FinePix, and can't wait for the better weather to arrive.
21 March 2009 I have finally finished scanning my slides (for the first time), and have posted them here on the site just as they were scanned. I haven't selected any slides, just uploaded the complete collection to show just what is possible with limited experience, skill and finances. The slides were taken as a 'pictorial history' as a way of helping my memory at a later date, so I took plenty of very poor pictures, just because I had the film available! eg: 10 rolls of film for a 6 week holiday in Canada!!! and nearly 6 rolls during the weekend spent in Paris! Thank goodness digital cameras came and are cheap to use. And I'm still waiting for somebody to identify this 15 Sqn Tornado at Hannover Font color=red>ZD472/EM - 15Sqn RAF Tornado I've lost the persons' name that identidied this for me -- SORRY -- but many thanks.
14 February 2009 After nobody has sent updates / comments on my glider databases, I've joined the Eastern built gliders with my master glider database and uploaded this as a complete database. I am also slowly trying to incorporate a photo to every database entry - so far I'm still working my way through the glider database.
10 January 2009 Well I have played and played with the slide-scanner and as such, I've uploaded a host of my old slides! I'm still not happy about the quality of these images yet, but as I wanted to get them posted I've left them as they are - I will try and improve the quality at a later date. Now another request - this time trying to identify a missing aircraft: Taken at the terminal during the I.L.A. at Hannover 20 May 1984 - I photographed this problem RAF Tornado , notice the code is for a XV squadron aircraft - so it should be easy to identify!. I look forward to anyone who can identify this aircraft - plus any fates it might have suffered. M T I A
01 January 2009 A HAPPY AND PEACEFUL NEW YEAR TO ALL 04 December 2008 Having played about with the under mentioned slide scanner, I have managed to scan quite a few of my commercial aircraft into digital format. So I will slowly post these to my photobucket account and allow you to see just how poor I am at photography, and I'm not getting any better with age either! Having been directed to yet another online database covering the German pre-war civilian registers, I have also decided to link into their listing to enable this site to "contain" as full a listing as possible. So with many thanks to Golden Years of Aviation Their site also contains many more early registers from across the globe, should please a few of you, just check their home page. Again, I don't have the resources to confirm how much is accurate, but as I didn't make this site to incorporate the pre-war aspect of the German aircraft registers, even if they have my site as a link, any data is better than none, and again, if this is an aspect you are interested in, please contact their site manager - I'm sure they will appreciate your input, just add that you've linked from my site please!.
09 November 2008 Having found another online database covering the German pre-war civilian and military registers, I've decided to link into their listing rather than copy any missing info into mine. So with many thanks to LEMB Stammkennzeichen Database Project. This should please a few of you. I don't have the resources to confirm how much is accurate, but as I didn't make this site to incorporate the pre-war or military aspect of the German aircraft registers. If this is an aspect you are interested in, please contact their site manager - I'm sure they will appreciate your input.
26 October 2008 Having taken the plunge and dug into my pockets to pay for my site to be hosted, I will now be reassembling into 1 complete site yet again. This should allow plenty of scope to incorporate my copter database back once more. This should please a few guys, but as I haven't touched this database for a few years - it is way out-of-date, once I'm happy with my layout, then I'll try and get the updates as soon as they make the day 48 hours long. I am also trying to copy my Canadian slides at the same time - only managed 150 of them so far.....
19 October 2008 I have finally found a friend that had a basic slide-copier sitting in his loft collecting dust - untill this weekend I spent a few (well lots of hours) just digging out a sample of slides that I took during a jaunt to Canada in 1986 which I hope Carl can still remember -- was a great adventure -- and the basic results are here. I haven't done any "doctoring" of the slides, just made sure the size wasn't silly - but large enough to see Once I'm happy with these, I shall try and persuade the BOSS, that I need a professional copier :-) Let me know if the results are worth trying the persuation method to get the better copier!
12 September 2008 Time for another request from my visitors. This time those that live in, or near, Coventry, UK. I have finally decided the time has come for me to do something more for the GA spotter, to this end I want to scan ALL my slides / negatives, and post them here on my site. Here lies the problem, I have tried flat-bed scanners (with slide attatchments) but hate the finished image, that then needs hours to "doctor" it to satisfactory standards. So I'm hoping someone living close and who ownes a dedicated slide / film scanner might want to contact me, and hopefully allow me the chance to borrow said equipment, and see how many of my 30,000+ slides I can post here.
10 September 2008 Finally had enough of getting "time-out" errors whilst trying to access the production listings so I have changed the .ASP access pages. Hopefully, although they take longer to load, it shouldn't "time-out" anymore. So if you still have problems don't hesitate to contact me. Same if you don't like this new format, and I'll see about returning to the old version. Also uploaded the aircraft photos' taken from the holiday to Fuerteventura, Canary Islands. Check out the gallery links to see them.
06 September 2008 Returned from the family holiday, to a mass of emails, thanks for your support guys. I had realised that my helicopters database were down for a long time now, but that wasn't my fault, but the host of my databases, who also emailed me to tell me that my bandwidth has exceeded the monthly limit yet again, so have pulled their support. That's where a freebie host always has the upper hand, so until I can find another host that accepts .ASP pages then the copters database will just have to stay on my PC - untouched while I sort out the other databases.
| 21 February 2008 Carl has requested a personal thank you to the following three guys for their hard work on our behalf in respect to database details. | 18 February 2008 Another massive update to all the Databases have taken place over the past few weeks, Carl has done a major overhaul of the MBB-BO105 listings, and is now overhauling the AS.350's. In the meantime I have vastly updated the glider database, touched the German regbook Database and uploaded over 550 photos that Carl took during 2006 AND 2007. Things are looking good. I hope you agree with me and continue your support. |
12 December 2007 After many long nights trying to decide where this web-site should go, I have had to make the hard decission to remove that attempt at the French Register in favour of a smaller register that I could maintain and update easier. So I have now added the small new Isle of Man register and removed the French off this site. I hope this meets with your approval and is in keeping with the overall look of the site.
25 March 2007 Yippeeee, I've managed to get my German Regbook to work via .asp. It might not be the best and most streamlined way of doing things but I'm happy with how it looks, plus I don't need to modify all those HTML pages anymore!!! If you have any comments then, please get in contact with me. If you are into programming and know anything about .asp which might to enable me to streamline everything then PLEASE get in touch. I'm always ready to learn and try out anything that might help.
18 March 2007 At long last I've managed to format my Production Lists to work via .asp directly off the database, which means it's as up-to-date as I am. It took some time, but I'm happy with the layout which I think suits the site better, plus I don't need to modify all those HTML pages every year!!! If you have any comments then, please get in contact with me. All I need now is help to format my German regbook into .ASP indexes and that will then complete the layout of the site fully. So if you are into programming an know .asp to enable me to index my regbook, get in touch. I'm always ready to learn and try out anything that might help.
